Sorry, I misspoke, you use V323im for the V325i (in device
configuration), and it will work fine with Motorola Phone Tools,
including transferring files back and forth to and from the phone. If
you choose V325i (or let the program auto-detect V325i), then you cannot
do file transfers, but the phone book can still be transferred. V323i
does not work at all.
I find that the Bluetooth actually works better than using a cable,
because with a cable it was endlessly adding modems, detecting and
redetecting the phone.
Again, remember that you MUST do a SEEM edit in order to enable file
transfer on the V325i because Verizon ships the phones with this
capability disabled (in order to sell you ringtones, and charge you for
transferring pictures). This would be the case no matter what software
application you are using with the phone.
No doubt Verizon is sad that on the phones with MicroSD cards they
haven't figured out how to prevent photos from being transferred via the
card.
Anyway, this is all fresh in my mind, since I just did it on two V325i
phones I picked up on eBay.
