Can someone tell me what the MPT will do for a miniUSB-connected phone that
just plugging it into a Windows box will not?

I have the MotoROKR Z6m and just plug it into my WinXP box's powerful
Staples-branded USB hub to charge it and move files on and off it.

What else can I do with it if I buy MPT??

I double clicked on a Jimmy Buffett song on the phone from Windows
Explorer, Winamp booted and is playing it as I typed this over the USB
cable. I didn't know it would do that. From Bluetooth OBEX, I have to
move the file from the phone to the Nokia N800 Linux tablet before it will
play on the tablet....hmm..

The phone charges faster from the Staples USB hub than it does from its own
stupid power supply!
