If you think that's impressive, drop by any brand's dealership part
department, step up to the counter and say, "I have a Hybrid XFG-5000X. My
mechanic says I need a new battery pack as the old one won't charge. How
much are they?"

After the parts guy picks himself up off the floor from laughing and
holding his stomach because of the pain, YOU'd better be sitting down when
he looks up what the dealer wants for a battery you can ONLY get from
HIM....

They want $90 for a 1 or 2 cell Sellphone Li-ion that has almost no power.
What do you thing that price is gonna be when it's ramped up to 500VDC and
big enough to power a car?!!

Gas is STILL cheap, incomparison to EV batteries......
