Toyota's warranty: "Hybrid-related components for hybrid vehicles are
covered for 8 years/100,000 miles. The HV battery may have longer coverage
under emissions warranty."
Either sell the vehicle before the warranty expires, or budget it into the
car's TCO. If the other carmakers offer a similar length of warranty, it
shouldn't be too much of an issue.
