I had the same problem. I bought copies of Motorola Phone Tools on CD
from Amazon. When they didn't work, I called Motorola Technical Support
and explained my problem. The phone number was in my phone's
instruction book. They gave me a temporary URL from which I downloaded
a version that DOES support the RAZR. You need at least Version 4.56 or
later.
The version I purchased on CD did not upgrade to this version. You
might wish to try it however. The upgrade has to be done one version at
a time; 4.0 to 4.1, 4.1 to 4.2, . . . . It DID NOT work for me! YMMV.
