If it ain't broke, don't fix it. . . . But if you have any problems
with it I'd strongly recommend upgrading to W/2k or W/XP. Either one is
more robust and reliable than W98. W/2K needs Service Pack 4 plus a
bunch of patches. W/XP also needs a Service Pack plus the latest patches.
As for the Versions of MPT, V4.0 that I bought on CD from Amazon didn't
recognize my Verizon Wireless V3m. The 4.56 I downloaded recognizes the
V3m without problems. Note that there are several models call RAZR.
There are, at least, a V3c, V3i, and V3m. Mine's a V3m. I couldn't
tell you what the differences between V3 models are; they may be carrier
specific, use different cellular technologies, or they may be simply
cosmetic.
