Did you try the official support forum for MPT
<http://www.bvrpforums.com/motorola/> yet? My phone had connectivity
problems (forget which) about a year ago. I searched their forums,
found several similar complaints and followed the responses from the
support people. Been fine since.

Fwiw, Motorola doesn't write MPT. It's an app from Avanquest. They
have offices in California but, from talking to their support, I'd say
that, for the mpt at least, coding & support is done from France.
