I had several bagphones....worked great!
I stood in the eye of Hurricane Hugo in 1989 talking to someone in Ohio
on my Motorola bagphone describing how beautiful the stars were...mostly
because all the trees that USED to be in the way, were now somewhere
else and someone else's trees were laying on the street from miles away.
.......then the other side of the storm tried to move the house I was a
refugee in back the other way the 6" it had already moved by the front
side of the storm.....in the pitch black dark, the power system of SC
having been destroyed....
