What happened? I thought analog was the greatest thing and that everyone
should be using a bag phone?

Alltel listened!
I had ordered Alltel's 25-channel Axcess TV before and it would only run
10 minutes before a nag screen popped up trying to get you to reboot it,
over and over. I had called Alltel HQ in Little Rock and told the big
cheeze's secretary we were going to force him to reboot his Comcrap Cable
box at home every 10 minutes the whole time he was trying to watch the
ball game....so he could "feel our pain". I subsequently dumped the
service and they refunded my fees, completely.
Well, the other day I thought I'd on-air download the Axcess TV again
because Alltel now has EVDO broadband across SC, even in tiny towns I'm
finding out, anywhere Alltel has a signal.
Someone must have listened! I don't get 25 channels on it now....I get
44. The nag screen is gone! I can continuously watch whatever channel
of the 44 offered I want, plus all the Alltel Nascar channels (8 of them)
without interruption....er, ah....well....except for changing
batteries...(c; TV's pretty hard on battery runtime, being continuously
in comms with the EVDO equipment sending the pix.
They also added a whole bunch of video music channels for various tastes.
My buddy's teenage girls confiscated it for hiphop, caliente, Top 40's,
Some goofy rock group called Linkin Park TV and the Japanese Anime
cartoon channel..fierce fighters one and all.
Channel Contents

Service is $10/mo but I bought the special for $30/year.
Add to that $10/month for "unlimited data" on all Axcess apps and
internet so it doesn't eat airtime and you can afford to leave it running
When I had it before, the Moto E815 didn't "ring" when you were watching
TV and had an incoming call. That's been corrected as I got several
calls during the day while it was playing.
Sure works great on EVDO without that damned 10 minute time limiter.....
I think I keep it this time....(c;
Thanks, Alltel!

I don't know but don't see why not. They said I could watch all I wanted
for the flat $10/month for unlimited data.

Wrong.
The $10 unlimited data feature is called Axcess Minutes, and is
totally different from Tethering. The billing codes are different and
the data moved is considered different.
