Default Update on Dropped Connections

Larry:

I thought you might like an update.

After my last contact with Alltel and my report to you, my connection
was excellent.

For about three days!!

Then it went to hell in a hand basket, and like someone said the basket
was on fire.

Dropped like you would not believe.

2 hours to enter a credit card and buy a booster antennae.

But I get ahead of myself.

It was so bad I got back in touch with Advanced Tech and the guy watched
my connection and informed me that absolutely nothing was wrong except
that everyone else was running over me because MY signal was weak. Not
theirs, mind you. mine.

He further informed me that I should get the booster antennae and
everything would be fine.

So I spent the aforesaid 2 hours getting it from Kyocera, which was the
only place to get it.

That was Friday night. You can not believe the number of drops and the
length of time it would take to get connected again, only to be dropped
sometimes in seconds.

Anyhow, I ordered it and paid the huge fee for next day air, not
thinking that next day air was stupid because it would not be delivered
until Monday (today) no matter how I ordered it.

So it arrived today.

But here is the kicker. My connection has been like you would not
believe. The most over hyped lying salesman could not say it any better
than it is. Not missed one single beat all day and night Saturday,
Sunday and so far today.

What that means is that the good connection I had after my first
conversation was luck. They changed something late Friday night or
early Saturday morning and apparently fixed it if not greatly improved
it.

I have not even connected the external booster. It might give me more
speed or something, but I think the only fair test is to wait until I am
getting multiple drops and then hook it up to see if the drops cease.

Be that as it may, it is now running better than anyone could promise,
even a lying peddler.

If anything changes, I will let you know.

If the connection continues without drops for one full week, I will then
hook up the booster to see if I get more speed, which could happened if
the connection is cleaner.

We could make 'em eat a little RF and put a REAL cellphone
repeater into Sutton Machine with a big beam antenna up on the
roof of the building:

http://cellantenna.com/repeater/building_repeater.htm

Then YOU, and your employees, would be the "big guns" in the
neighborhood with the "big signal" at the tower...(c;

The repeater doesn't just work on your signal....it works on
EVERYONE's signal, even the other carriers! People walk in from
the parking lot where they had 2 bars and notice the full bars
display on their phones INSIDE Sutton Machine...(c;

If you install it, be sure to call that network guy back and say,
"CAN YOU HEAR US NOW?!"......(c;....priceless.

Ah, another business deduction as we enter the tax season...(c;
