Alltel PPC6800 Rom Issues

The company where I work has issued the techs the HTC PPC6800. Rom
Version: 2.14.671.3 dated 08/20/07. Radio version is 1.40.00

Verizon and Sprint also have this phone and there is a new rom out for
their version of this phone (Rom 2.17.xx, Radio 1.47.xx).

Does anyone have any info on whether or not Alltel and HTC will release
a new rom for this phone like has been done with Verizon and Sprint? I
can't seem to find any info on rom releases for Alltel at the following
sites:

Also, I understand there is a Windows Mobile 6.1 update out. For Alltel

The place to go to get the latest information on rom updates for your device
will be your wireless carrier and HTC america website.

As far as windows 6.1 or other updates no one really knows at this time.
