Alltel Hue Data Cable & Samsung PC Tools

I have a copy of Samsung PC Tools 3 and can connect to my new Hue via
SPP, DUN, File transfer and object push. I've gotten 3 out of the 4
to work too. (all except the file transfer.) According to the
documentation you need to have an SD card in the phone for the file
transfer to work. No big deal there. I can wait until I can get down
to Microcenter and get an SD card to test that.

My big question is, *if* I buy the data cable, *will* Samsung's PC
tools work with this phone? The crappy software didn't work with my
wafer on BT or USB cable. So I really don't want to waste my time
unless I can find someone who has successfully gotten the Samsung
software to work with the USB Cable for this phone. Is there anyone
doing so out there?

I can already do what I need to with BITPIM, but it would be nice to
try Samsung's software for once.
