Sadly it is just a sticker and has no connection to the working of the
phone. It will always be red. What you should know as others have said
here is that it got wet. When the water or beer dries the phone will
start to work again as you are seeing but there is still a possibllity
of corrosion that can go undetected. The phone maybe fine for a few
weeks but once the corrosion goes through the phone it is not good it
stops completely. You may want to talk to your carrier to see if you
can get a new phone cheap.
