Default KRZR K1 and a new memory card.

Hi.

What do I have to do when I buy a new memory card for KRZR K1. Do I simply
plug it in the cell phone or do I have to format it on a computer? How do
you get all those folders on it (pics, audio, kjava...) ?

Thank you in advance.

Just put it in your phone and it is ready to use. Connect it to your
computer with the appropriate USB cable, and the computer will treat
it like another drive. Just copy to it like you would any other
drive. To use these new files, you will have to set up the phone as
it describes in the manual. It's fairly intuitive if you want to
search around in the menus.

What about some folders that are hidden? For example, I can't see kjava
folder on my memory card.

The only thing I can tell you is that files and folders are just files
and folders. You would treat this situation exactly like you would
copying from one hard drive to another. Hidden folders would be
treated the same way as any other hidden folder. The fact that the
memory card is in a cell phone has nothing to do with normal Windows
file management.

Ok. It works now. I tried it with a 2 gig memory card and everything works
fine.

Don't get one that is bigger than 2 Gig and SDHC, although I suppose they
might format at 2GB.
