As reported in [1][2][3], an experimental mobile broadband communication system has been developed for the purpose of implementing and evaluating candidate physical-layer technologies in a mobile cellular environment. The data collected by this experimental system can also be used to characterize the path loss, delay spread, and other channel characteristics in a 20MHz bandwidth at 3.676 GHz. This paper describes these statistics for a dense, urban environment for two base antenna heights, under line-of-sight (LOS) and non-LOS reception conditions.
