Default Swapping memory cards - Just use copy and paste?

I want to replace my 2GB Kingston mini sd card in my N73, for a 2GB Sandisk
Ultra 2.

I have lots of applications, images, and music on my card. Can I just use my
card reader, and copy and paste everything to my new card? Or will that
corrupt any files I have on there? What about the hidden files?

Cheers,

Matthew

Well don't write on the old card.

Prepare a folder on your PC.

Start windows explorer and set it to display hidden files etc.

drag the lot (copy) into the new folder. Check all files (esp hidden) have
come across.

Gracefully remove the old card and insert the new one and then drag
everything from the folder onto the new card.

Should work.

Take your time and don't go surfing while it is copying.

Also some phones via Nokia PC suite can back up memory cards and then you
can reinstall it as I'm not sure if installed applications on a card can be
restored by saving the files?
