and posting blatantly FALSE AND MISLEADING lies.. Onece again, verizon
phones are *NOT* locked, nor are they subsidy locked....

Horseshit. You can't copy MP3 files from the memory card to internal
memory. And, you can't make the MP3 files on the card into ringtones if
you can't COPY them to the phone. Besides, of course, the "APPLY AS
RINGTONE" selection on the E815s is missing on Verizon phones.
You're right! The damned phones AREN'T locked! They simply don't have
ALL THE COMMANDS in ALL THE MENUS!

MY (VZW branded) e815 did all of the things YOU say it can't....
So - horseshit is is... but it is certainly yours!
Same thing with the V3c and V3m that are in the household.
Everything works on them just fine...
