The radiation level of a cell phone should not be an issue if you take
precautions. Keeping the handset away from your body when in use will
improve reception and in many cases the phone is able to reduce it's
transmit power, resulting in longer battery life and less 'potential'
exposure risk.
When operating in a vehicle it is also a good idea have an car kit with
external antenna, again the phone will use less power and it will not be
radiating inside the cabin.
