Default 6230 & Kingston 1gb MMC card

I got a 1gb Kingston (MMCM/1GB Dual Voltage) card for my 6230 but the phone
doesnt recognise it.

Ive tried it in 2 6230's, one having old firmware and the other having the
latest, same thing

Ive formatted it in a card reader to FAT16, same thing

Ive formatted it through DOS to FAT16, same thing

selling points say it works in a 6230 and what ive search on the net says
the same.

further info as requested, can anyone help.

Karl
