Default Phone Managers

Can anyone please recomend an alternative to Oxygen phone manager fof a
Nokia 6310i? all I want to do is to imprort my contacts from Outlook into
the phone. I have been using Oxygen for some time, but in their wisdom
Oxygen have crippled the program that I bought and paid for, and paid for
upgrades, and it now no longer has an import/export function without me
paying a further extorionate rate.

Alternativly, although i dont normally condone sofware piracy, if anyone can
point me in the direction a a working copy of Oxygen I would appreciate it.
They truly desrve to be ripped off themselves

Older versions still have Import and Export option and these versions are still available from your personal customer's page. There were no any changes for your model in Import/Export functionality for your phone model. So you can still import and export data even with expired license.

I use Mobile Phone tools, as supplied with my Moto V3i. Connection is via
Bluetooth and it works okay for me. MPT can usually be had legitimately on
ebay for around £10 or if you'r lucky, $10ish.

That's so funny. You're saying that after paying you money every year
to keep updated with the latest version of your software, you then
need to uninstall it and go back to the original version you had just
to use one feature. Do you really expect your customers to uninstall
and reinstall the software every time they want to export some data?
If you were entitled to use the import/export feature at some time in
the past why have you taken away a benefit that someone has already
paid you to have?

I spent money on your software for several years but I got so tired of
this kind of thing that I stopped dealing with you. You won't be
getting a single cent more out of me.

No, you don't: you can have the both versions on your PC: the older one with Import and Export option turned on and the new one without this options. This is allowed by our licensing policy. There were no too much changes for Nokia 6310i and we don't force our customers to subscribe for the new updates: if you are using an old phone, you can still use our software even when subscription period is over (and you can still download your version from your personal customer's page).

You can still use the only one version, which does have import and export option, as there were no major changes for 6310i model. If you would like to see new features, you can install the both versions. Two basic Oxygen Phone Manager II installations are comparable to Nokia PC Suite's place on disk (in Megabytes). A propos, when your license is expired, the technical support is still available to you via our official forums or in this newsgroup.

We've never promised anywhere, that this feature will stay forever in our software.

No problem! We don't force you to pay for an updates: you can still use our program even after your subscription period is expired. The only limitation is pop-up window on startup, which does not reduce the whole functionality anyhow. And, of course, if you really are our customer (we don't have a customer registered under 'Chris Blunt' customer's name), you still can download an older version from your personal customer's page which did have this functionality. We've never promised anywhere that we'll continue to develop each function of the program in future versions.

Of course, we'll be glad to see you among our respective customers. :)

You can order our license here:

Try LogoManager Pro Suite, the Outlook contacts appear in a folder in
the software. Just drag and drop the Outlook contacts from there
right into the phone.

The old versions of your program are NOT available om my home page, only the
last 12 months of your so called updates. If I could get back to the
original version that worked I would be happy, but I can't. So not only is
your company in my opion unethical and immoral you also try to deliberatly
deceive people as well, which I would call dishonest. I would stronly advise
anyone not to touch an Oxygen product under any circumstances. Even if it
appears to do as it says at present, there is every possibility that they
will then cripple the ptogram so that it no longer works.

I never thought I'd find a software company worse than Microsof

In this case just contact our customer support service and we'll provide the version via temporary link or e-mail. You can contact our customer support service via webform http://www.oxygensoftware.com/support/ or via private messaging service of our forum: http://www.oxygensoftware.com/forum/

Indeed, you can get any version, covered by your subscription period. Some older versions may not be shown, when we release new updates. In this case, just write us and we'll send you a link or a setup file in attachment.
