Hey, that'd pay for half of my ISP charges. If I thought for one minute he
was tellingthe truth, and I could make half that, I'd sign up!
But, seeing how I've never once been greeted by a FON sign-in page ever,
nor do I think anyone would park on my Cul-de-sac for my "reasonably priced
WiFi," I'll file this in the "blowing smoke" category!

It applies to a facilities based provider.
Regardless who does the actual billing, Oxtard is providing the wireless
transmission facilities.

Where does the FCC use the phrase "base stations" in the applicable
descriptions of the aforementioned forms? Try again.
Oh wait...you likely don't even know the forms they want to to provide.
But then, you could quickly start "goggling" for that information.

Agreed -- freedom is an important value for most users. I think it's great
that our ISPs don't lock down their network hardware so that, say, the
network would stop working whenever you attempted to use unauthorized 3rd
party software.

Yea, that is way to expensive for a connection to the internet.
I only pay $200 a year for 5M down/512k up cable connection
