Nokia 6280 and Bluetooth headset BH-900 reconnecting or phone poweroff

Hello,

the Nokia 6280i keeps loosing the connection (headset icon in upper
part of the display), reconnecting (found BH-900) or even powering
down when connected to a BH-900. The phone is compatible to the BH-900
according to Nokia's accessory website. The headset works fine on
different other handys and PDAs. The phone's firmware is V03.81.

Is there a special pairing sequence or anything else that I should
know of (I followed instructions in the manual) or does the firmware
need to be upgraded?

Get the firmware upgraded, that is the very first version. The newer
versions are much more stable.
