Default INCREASING PHONES BATTERY BY 50% WHEN LOW

Hi members, one day i read from mail that when you are far from charge
and your phone battery is totally low that it can be increased to 50%
of charge by pressing *3370# which restarts the phone. Unfortunately i
tried it failed, phone saying request not completed. Ma question, does
it depend on the service provider or anything else . Help me members.
Looking forward to hearing from you.

No it will not increase battery charge, it actually turns on EFR which
will increase battery drain by about 5% but you will get better audio
quality.

I don't think it actually works with most of the newer Nokia Phones.
But if you want to understand what these codes really do then have a
look at: <http://www.programmerworld.net/articles/tips/nokia_codes.php>
