Default Mobile TV

If you subscribe to mobile TV (on Vodafone), is the £10 charge per month the
totality of the charge? I was assuming you don't pay for data transfer as
well but thought I should check. Can't find it on the Vodafone FAQs...

Ta!

Hi there. Am not on Vodaphone but i do use Orange TV and they only charge
you for a package per month. That includes data and subject to fair usage.

I found all the information about Orange tv on the wap pages from my
handset. It should be somewhere with vodafone..

Just give them a call.

Have you actaully used mobile tv? any good?

Thanks. Haven't tried it yet but my handset with it on arrives tommorrow.
But I'm told that most people are quite disappointed with it so may not be
worth subscribing after the free trial anyway.

Don't be put off by that.

Picture quality depends on , location, signal strength and handset.

Will that person be watching TV on the move rather than just one place?
If your in an area that has good signal strength then you can easily watch
TV on the move.
If not, its best to find a good location with good signal strength and watch
it there.

The handset is where it makes the difference. You can watch TV on most
handsets but I you should opt for a high end mobile.

I currently watch my Orange T.V on a Nokia N95 and Nokia N93i handset. They
both have large displays and good processors.

I used the trial Orange T.V. I used it in several locations. I travel
mostly for my work so I get to test it out where signals are strong and
weak.

I have noticed that there is sometimes picture and audio lag. ( ever been on
the phone and sometimes you cant hear the other person or voice is
crackled?)
The same goes for mobile T.V. Normal phone call, handset just has to process
the voice but mobile tv, has to process the voice and video.

When your handset comes, try the free trial. Try it if you can everywhere
you go.

Or if you really wanted TV on your mobile. Nokia has a deditcated handset to
watch digital T.V. Not steaming TV that Vodaphone and Orange are providing.
Just like watching normal tv

Hope some off this has helped you.

Well done in the London Marathon!!!! Keep up all your good work!!!!
