Default P C Suite?

Well its about time to get a new phone. I have had Nokia which I really
liked and also Moto. I love the phone tools software and the ability to
create my own ringtones and organize my contacts via PC. Just what will the
PC Suite do? Can I do about the same with it? As I have has very good luck
with both phones the software will probably be a major factor in what I get.

Thanks.
Glenn

There are some limitations in the US as to what you can do with a Verizon
Motorola, Cingular Motorola seems unaffected. I suppose that affects Nokia
as well.

I have had Cingular/AT&T Motorola V220, V551, V3xx and V3 Razor2, or
whatever their "free" phone is currently, using Motorola Phone tools.

I currently use a Nokia 6126 with the PC Suite.

I am able to take MP3, manipulated in itunes, to either Nokia or Motorola
as ring tones. I move pictures and video back and forth.

I used MPT to save contacts from a Motorola to an Outlook Express WAB file,
although I don't use Outlook Express, and then from WAB to the Nokia via PC
Suite.

Both MPT and PC Suite synchronize Outlook/Lotus/Private Databases for
contacts and calendar information.

I find PCSuite easier to use, and it's free. MPT ranges from $3 on ebay to
$39 from BVRP.com, the source.

After having the Nokia 6126 for a year, I am disappointed in the physical
build and design quality. I prefer the Motorola form factor.

I wouldn't let the software be a factor. I don't use it every day.
