Help with Email mobile E62

I would like to be able to send and recieve e mail to my nokia e 62 i have a pop 3 account with rogers .com i am with fido canada and am having problem configering the phone .will the email notification lite work when and if possible to do this and do i have to subcribe to blackberry connect or not looking to save money i am aware of the yahoo go mobile software but does not take advantage of my phones capability thanks in advance
