P910 flip problem

Hi

Just discovered that the Number 2 button on the inside flip keyboard doesn't
work. Is this likely to be a fault in the cable (if there is one) between
the flip and phone?

If so I suppose I could replace the whole flip. If it's something more
serious eg internal top teh phone I may have to replace the whole thing. The
phone is nearly 2 years old and looking a bit the worse for wear
