Default P910i won't synch calendar with Outlook XP

HEy there

One of our users cannot synch his calendar anymore.
He got a new computer and we installed the software and since then the
synch doesn't work anymore. It did work on the old computer.

We tried 2 Versions of the PC Suite and did an upgrade on the phone itself.

Any ideas?

Florian

Have you tried Oxygen Phone Manager II for Symbian OS phones ( http://www.opm-2.com/symbian/ )? It doesn't have automatic synchronization, but it does have import and export functions (in business versions), so you can retrieve info from local Microsoft Outlook database and export it there. We support this for Calendar and To-Do list, plain notes aren't supported. This functionality works in business version only or as addional 'Import/Export' licensing option for Individual or Family license.

We support only Bluetooth and Infrared connectivity for UIQ2-based Sony Ericsson smartphones (including P910i). Cable connection is supported for UiQ3 smartphones only (i.e., M600i, P1i, W950i, W960i and their technological derivatives).

You can contact us on our forum for more support: http://www.oxygensoftware.com/en/forum/ .

Be very careful if you are considering dealing with Oxygen Software!
I used to pay for and use there software, until they sudenly crippled the
main function without warning (Outlook import/export) and then demanded more
money to restore it's original function. I consider this immoral, unethical
and dishonest, but perhaps that the way things are done in modern Russia. I
wonder how long it will be before they star doing the same thing to their
busness and forensic customers.

Hello, "Malcolm J Reid" <mjr@home.net>!
Sun, 2 Dec 2007 10:51:30 -0000 13:51:30 in alt.cellular.ericsson you wrote:

It is not true, as Import and Export option is still available for your old Nokia 6310i phone, you can still download this version from your personal customer's page and you can still use this version even after your subscription period is over (and Import and Export functionality isn't reduced anyhow in overdated subscription).

PS: as you can see, we've mentioned the license conditions in our message.

Best regards, Maxim Vyalkov.
