Default Smartphone with wifi?

Hello.

Does Sprint have a smartphone with
wifi and Bluetooth aside from the HTC?

I'd like to stay with Sprint as much
as possible but I may jumpship to AT&T
and get the iPhone if in June there
is no smartphone offering with both
wifi and Bluetooth.

I will consolidate my device use. Currently
I have a Palm PDA and a Sprint phone.

Depending on what you need BT to do, one could argue that the iPhone lacks
BT! ;-)

BT on the iPhone is for handsfree use only- not file transfer, PC synching,
A2DP (music over stereo headphones), phone-as-modem tethering, etc. like
other smartphones.

What's wrong with the Mogul? It's one of the better smartphones presently
available.

~None

What's wrong with the Mogul? (I speak from experience)

1. When you slide open the keyboard the 5-way navigational button ends up
on your left hand. I just happen to be right-handed and find that awkward.

2. Most of the buttons can fail all at once. But that isn't a major
problem since you can still use the phone with the stylus on the touch
screen.

As for: What's right with the Mogul:

1. Bluetooth PAN. Not everyone wants that though

2. Built in GPS ( requires their latest software)

3. Broadband access in large metropolitan areas.

Thanks. All I care for BT on the phone is for my
headset and my car's BT for hands free use.

With my current PDA-only device, I sync using
wifi. My current phone has BT which is paired with
my headset and also with my car's BT. I want one
device to replace both my current device.

The HTC Touch from sprint has a poor review.

Just a heads up- unless you use an Exchange server, modern PPCs no longer
sync over WiFi. MS decided it was a "security issue" and ended WiFi sync
starting with Windows Mobile 5. If you sync with Exchange, rather than a
PC, then you can sync over any internet connection, including WiFi.
Wirelessly synching with a PC these days requires BT.

I'm not a fan of the Touch models myself. If I were to use Sprint or
Verizon, I'd go with VZW's 6800 or Sprint's Mogul.

Sprint Mogul is manufactured by HTC. I don't like the reviews of it
from phonescoop, cnet, etc. Here's a quote from CNet:
"The good: The Sprint Mogul by HTC runs the latest Windows Mobile 6, has
more memory included, and has a thinner design. It also boasts Bluetooth,
Wi-Fi, and EV-DO support as well as a 2-megapixel camera. Sprint will also
offer an over-the-air update post-launch that gives you access to the Sprint
Music Store.

The bad: Some elements of the Mogul's hardware as well as speakerphone
volume and quality is sub-par. A slower processor and limited program memory
can sometimes slow down performance.

The bottom line: The Sprint Mogul by HTC brings some needed design and
feature updates to its predecessor, and refreshes the carrier's staid lineup
of smartphones. It has some performance issues, but is worth the upgrade.

Specs: OS provided: Microsoft Windows Mobile 6.0 Professional; Installed
RAM: 64 MB; Processor: QUALCOMM 400 MHzMSM7500 "

As are 90% of all Windows Mobile pones, unfortunately.

True, but you're limiting your field to CDMA phones (Verizon and Sprint.)
I'd argue the 6800/Mogul are simply the best of a bad bunch.

....and? It's not perfect, but what other smartphone with WiFi options do
you have on Sprint at the moment?
