| I second your thoughts. I've had my 755P since mid-December and I've
| only had it lock up on me one time, and that was when I tried to
| install an old Palm application (it was written for PalmOS 3.x). Other
| than that I've had ZERO problems.

| 1) Uninstall any apps you've installed

| 2) Get the 1. firmware update from Palm and install it. Follow the
| instructions on the Palm web site EXACTLY (including the caution about
| not using a MicroSD card in an adaptor for the update file).

| If you still have problems, you might have a defective device.
| Contact Palm and see what they have to say.
If nobody else seems to have problems with it, it may be a defective device, as you said. I'll try contacting Palm and see what they say.
