I recently moved into a condo with my girlfriend. We both have sprint
with different plans and different phones. We can't get any signal at
all any where inside. We can't even get a signal out on the patio.
We've both called sprint 10+ times to complain about the coverage.
They have said they would check the towers, refresh the signal to the
phone, update the software, etc. But nothing is working. We've asked
several times for them to send out a tech to our condo so they can
verify it for themselves. They say they can only do that if many
people are calling in to complain, and that they don't guaranty
coverage indoors. We don't have a land line and can't dial 911 in an
emergency. Is there any way we can get out of this? Their customer
service has been absolutely terrible!!!!!

No different than any other carrier.

Only if you have a written guarantee of 100% nationwide coverage.

Was it that the customer service was bad, or is it that you are mad that
you didn't get what you wanted?

So, a) you move to a place without Sprint coverage, and b) you ELECT not
to get a landline, and somehow it's Sprint's fault you have no phone
service?
Sign up for a free VoIP account with Voicestick (assuming you have
broadband- you must of posted this somehow) they offer a free incoming
phone number and unlike, say, Skype, Voicestick supports 911 emergency
location.
Not to pick on you, but Sprint didn't make you move, and they don't have
any obligation to dispatch techs to your home to figure out there's no
service at your location. If you had service there before and it
suddenly disappeared then perhaps the "send out a tech" request would
make more sense.
When I moved to my current house three years ago I was surprised my AT&T
wireless service didn't work here. A phone call to AT&T verified my area
had "limited coverage." My solution was to switch carriers to one who
covered my area.

Their customer service hung on me twice because they claimed to have
already cleared the situation.
Maybe there is a hardware gizmo you could mount on the roof, and relay the
signal inside?

we already went to home depot and mounted a couple of sprint only
hardware gizmos on the roof, but kinda like direcTV (which, by the
way.. also doesn't work in our home) doesn't work unless you point it
in the right direction....hmmm

Sounds like you should have scouted the new place out before
you moved there. Satellite TV always works unless you don't
have an antenna site with a clear view of the southern sky.

1. Get a landline
2. Switch carriers
3. Move
