It's not so much that it's advanced, but it's free,
open-source software, so there isn't much in the way of hand-holding.
It's a small application that you put on your computer that
allows you to access your phone's software and transfer information
back and forth. So it's really exactly what you want. I'm surprised
that the 4930 isn't supported, but if you don't see it, it is not. The
people who work on BitPim update their information pretty carefully.
With BitPim you're also on your own in obtaining the cable
that connects the phone to the computer. It's easy to find, but you
have alternatives that you might find more useful.

I don't know anything about these two applications but they
are quite popular and designed to do what you want to do. I believe
