Default Cure for Solications by Sprint(and related 3rd parties)

I have received in the mail a white card type mailing from

SPRINT PO BOX 5500 Hauppauge, NY 11788

I had left in on 'the pile' to be processed later.

Today I looked at it and it is the CPNI notification
(Customer Proprietary Network Information)

It details "How we use your information to improve your service"
Which of course states"......If you prefer that Sprint not use, disclose or
allow access to your CPNI to offer you..........you may 'opt-out'...."

Next panel shows how to Opt Out
One option is to supply account name and number and fold card up and send it
back...

BUT the option of interest to people with a problem with Sprint
solicitations...
"If your wish to later change your previous CPNI selection at any time by
notifying Sprint at the following address. Please include your Account Name
and Account Number"
Office Of Privacy
Sprint Nextel Corporation
2001 Edmund Hillary Dr.
Mailstop: VARSEP0401-A4112
Reston, VA 20191

Unfortunately, it looks like if you don't "opt-out', your are IN!
