Treo 700wx Calendar/Task Reminders Stopped Working

I have had to do a hard reset on my Treo 700wx about five times over
the last couple of months because my reminders stop working for task
and calendar items. I still get the voice command which tells me about
the upcoming appointment, but no reminder appears and if I miss the
voice command for whatever reason, I do not get prompted at all about
the appointment. Same problem with tasks.

This is a frustrating problem and I'm near the point where I am simply
going to tell Sprint they need to replace my device with a new Palm
based OS. I should not have to do a hard reset every few weeks and
then reinstall/reconfigure my device.

Since the main draw of these devices is for time management, I fail to
see why Palm has not come up with a solution yet.
