If developers were the target of that dog and pony show Jobs put on today,
he needs new developers. That show was made for 12 year old middle school
kids, trying to sell them a toy.
I'd like to think the coders were bored to tears, in spite of the cheering
over the most stupid, mundane items everyone else already has....like apps.

Doesn't being controlled by iTunes telling you what you can and can't
watch/listen to even bother you a little?

That really bothers me that we have this whole, fairly large, group of
previously individual people who seem to accept total control of their
content that doesn't seem to bother them, at all!
I know we've been brainwashing them in public schools to accept total
control, but to meet it face-to-face like this is a terrible shock....
It's as if they're incapable of thinking for themselves, any more.
They won't have any trouble getting them to accept the Verichip injection,
convinced it's in their best interest.

No they're not! Steve Jobs told BUSINESS today that they were a valuable
BUSINESS tool.....in spite of the fact you can't run your company's
software on them.....sort of....

at least with the apple crowd, everyone knows there is no vender lock in
since everything is basically open source and based on open standards.
with windows and nokia, verizon, etc you are pretty much trapped, but
the apple world has always been based on anarchy and free thought. kinda
cool since they also happen to make the best pcs's and cell phones
nowadays.
so it's a win, win if you are smart enough to understand it.

ROTFLMAO, yup, I understood that the damn things were turned to bricks,
"Open Source" and all, when someone did something that the big Apple in the
sky didn't like. Like I said, if you can talk the dolts into how good it is
for them and maybe even make them believe that it makes them special, you
can totally control the customer. I hope you have a warm, cozy, well taken
care of, feeling about your Apple, it makes me happy to know that heirs to
Madison Avenue in the fifties have arisen and are as skilled as ever.
have a nice day
