To SMS from (whatever)

I gather this is now the place, rather than the Voicestream group?

If you don't text, have no text plan, and want to send deathless messages to
friends who do, are there any email-SMS gatways still in business that anyone
can recommend? Teleflip seems to have died.

And in the reverse direction, I've been getting "refused/message too old"
intermittently (after TWO DAYS) from emails to nnn..@tmomail.net. Does
anyone use that regularly? Has it been up most of the time?

Regularly - no. But it worked fine for me yesterday.

Much shorter and easier to remember: http://t-mobile.com/messaging (forwards
to the quoted URL).

Messages sent from the web are consistently, reliably delivered (in my
experience). I generally don't have problems sending to other people or
receiving SMS to my T-Mo phone using email either, but I've *never* had
problems using the web. I've been on T-Mo since mid-2005.
