AFAIK do all A2DP (BT high quality audio) capable Motos like V3x and K1
support playing ringtones through BT headsets. What I am not sure about
is if they are able to do that with non A2DP headsets. I guess the issue
has found some consideration within Motorola, even if it took a while.

I have the H500. Is that an A2DP headset?

I had the chance to try with a KRZR K1 and a H500 today. This
combination does play mp3 ringtones, even though the H500 is a non A2DP
headset.
