Prepaid phone questions

Someone else said "no" to this also, however, I'll just add my
experience: The four ToGo phones I got for family members all came with
$15 in credit out of the box. When I logged into the T-Mobile website
before adding a $100 card, all of them said "$85 more until you get Gold
Rewards status". It may be though that this $50 credit is somehow
different if it is a special promotion, but, I bet it will count towards
your "Gold" status, try it and see.

I think I was the other one to say no, but you're right. It had been so
long since I activated a new account I had forgotten. Back when I
activated my three prepaids they used to give $30 as starter airtime and
the $30 counted toward Gold.
