T-Mobile account callelation without ETF
Has anyone terminated their account with T-Mobile and not been charged the
Early Termination Fee?
If so, how did you do it?

My guess is that most of them waited until the contract was up. :)

Transfer your service to someone else?

T-Mobile account callelation without ETF
That is my intention. They have cost me a buch of money already as I have
lost a customer to their poor service.
I have a call in to the Executive Appeals office. I want to transfer my
number back to my old carrier, and never look back.
I have gone thru 7 phones, 4 SIM cards, and a whole lot of pateince.

How does that avoid the ETF? If it's cancelled early they will bill the
ETF.

If you transfer before contract end you still pay the ETF.

File a claim against them in court for "preach of contract" for not
living up to your service contract for ten times the amount of the ETF.
Then settle out of court.

Unless I'm mistaken, if you can find some sucker to assume the contract,
doesn't that get you out of the ETF?

I think he was suggesting a "change of responsibility," in other words,
transfer his T-Mo service to another person, not move his number to a
different carrier.
