Default T-Mobile's e-mail-to-mobile down?

Is there a problem with T-Mobile's e-mail-to-mobile today?
I tried email to mobile but the email was not received.

The problem was noticed on Saturday morning.
Could this problem be caused by the flooding and
mudslides brought on by the heavy rains in Washington state?

It has turned from reliable to sporadic in the past 4 days.
Continue to send messages to user@tmomail.net and some fraction
will get through. It's a bit of a problem, at some point
I will call them to trace it out.

I just tried again about an hour ago. It's still not working.
I'll keep trying.

I hope people find relief up in Washington state soon.

Since I wrote the above, it has now in my particular case
become reliable again. There is speculation that some of the
unreliability may stem from the email bridge now being an
advertised feature of TMobile service; when it was an
unadvertised feature, there may have been less loading on
this part of the system.

Thanks for the info. Is there anything that
can be done (as a workaround) on my end to
make email-to-mobile more reliable for me?

Two things:

It's a shot in the dark, but one thing we did was set up
a username (username@tmomail.net instead of the default
form with the phone number, e.g. 5105555555@tmomail.net).
It's weakly possible this improved things. It in any
case did not seem to hurt.

The other thing is that the mail unreliability first
came into play for us when we were outside of a TMobile area
(in the south, so that the phone associated with some
local carrier). So it may be more stable if you're
not roaming in and out of Tmobile.

I assume you know about the reverse direction, mobile-to-email.

I don't think the problem is related to roaming.
How do you setup a username? Register?

I'm not certain as I did not go through that step personally,
but I think it's through the "My T-Mobile" section of tmomail.net
or t-mobile.com.

I'm not sure how using a username would improve things since
it's just an alias.

Currently, T-Mobile seems to be having serious problems with email-to-mobile.
Friends with T-Mobile monthly plans are not receiving text messages either.

Anyone thinking about signing up with T-Mobile might want to
take this into consideration. If this is a temporary problem that
T-Mobile is currently working on, their website should
post the system status and when the problem is expected to be fixed.
