The merger isnt going to happen, makes no sense at all.

T-Mobile does not use CDMA, and if T-Mobile is worried
about being price undercut by Sprint, its cheaper to wait a year till
they go out of business, than it is to buy them out.

Sprint will not go out of business! In one year they will be the largest and
most successful cell phone service provider in the USA.

Tell us how you've borrowed every penny you can and bought lots of
Sprint stock, and we might believe you.

Actually buying PUTs on Sprint makes far more sense.

He might be right- apparently Sprint will be the sole surviving wireless
carrier of a nuclear holocaust, if the TV series Jericho can be believed.
Every mobile phone still working on the show- whether used by the good guys,
the bad guys, intelligence agents, military, or terrorists are all Sprint
branded and logoed. ;-)
