managing groups and ring tones on tmobile nokia 6030

Can someone point me to some help info or instructions on managing
groups and unique ring tones on the Tmobile nokia 6030? I have it
working mostly but I am experiencing some inconsistencies so I don't
know if the firmware is buggy I am doing something wrong or what.

The book that comes with it doesn't really address the details of how
this works. I guess its supposed to be self explanatory.

My goal is to have a group with all my friends in it so I get a unique
ringtone and for all others its a quiet ring. Whoever, had this
number before me seemed to get on some collection agency lists so I
get too many wrong numbers.
