I'll assume you had a lemon. Mine works quite well. And the
pda/minicomputer aspect is as good as others I've used. Once there's a
complete upgrade to WM6 available, that's needed to fix some WM5
shortcomings. Otherwise, the spb tweaks, pocket e-sword & agendus were
all I really needed to add -- there don't really seem to be ANY really
good WM browsers.

To be honest, when I first got my 8525 it was clunky, but not terriable,
since the latest firmware was installed, it has improved dramatically, I
myself, prefer it over the iphone. I have no problems with those who think
otheriwse, they are aimed at different markets, but an 8525 without buying
on contract, is the same price as an iphone.

I can get an N800 with a bigger screen, run it off a decent and cheap
Samsung Sync on hsdpa and do skype and other things. or as in an iphone,
use it off wifi, and guess what, I can add programs, chat on the irc, surf
the net and its a little over half the price of an iphone and don't need a
contract extentsion.

You easily make up the difference on the data plan.
