Default SLVR v7 - won't recognise drive

Has anyone experienced a problem recognizing the phone as an external drive
each time it is plugged into the USB port?

At times, the drive letter shows up, but I cannot access the drive.
Entering MPT and xfering files is not a problem, once I exit I get the
message that it is switching the store device, the iTunes screen pops up
and says Do Not Disconnect....and that's it....still cannot access the
drive via the USB cable.

I am using a Kingston 1gig micro drive.

Problem solved.....I put a different microSD in there and it works.
Strange thing is that Kingston replced the chip and I have the same
problem. I purchsed another Kingston MicroSD card and works perfect.
Must be different chip set.
