It seems to be different in California, then. My name shows up on
calls I make from my AT&T cell phone to landlines even though this
is not a service I asked for. The name also comes with calls from
Sprint cell phones, if I remember correctly, though calls from Verizon
cell phones come with some variant of "Wireless Caller".
