Default XV-6900 - some questions

Looking to upgrade from my LG VX6000. I am totally satisfied with the 6000's
sound quality and Verizon service is excellent in my area (had AT&T
previously and would not take it again for free). My 6000 is missing a few
features I would like, such as:

1. Speaker phone

2. Bluetooth

3. Store and sync contact information from Outlook (using Bluetooth or any
other method)

4. Use my cell phone to get internet access through my notebook computer
(how
is it done, what does it cost, how fast and reliable is it??).

5. Email access through the phone (occasional, not a major priority or I
would
get a Blackberry)

6. GPS (I have a Garmin, but would still like to have this capability in my
cell phone)

7. Listen to audio books from audible.com (so I would not have to also carry
an
Ipod)

If anyone currently owning and using the XV-6900 could give me some
feedback, it would be appreciated.

There is a website setup just for the phone you mentioned at:
http://www.xv6900.com/

but I'll try to answer some of your questions anyway.

> 1. Speaker phone

The "Touch" can be a "Speaker phone" but you might want to try it before you
buy it since it can't be very loud with one small speaker on the back.

> 2. Bluetooth

It has a few "Bluetooth" items like "Stereo Bluetooth" but the one sold by
Verizon does not have Bluetooth PAN.

A USB cable is needed. Check with a Verizon store for cost and I don't know
where to tell you to go for information on "reliable."

I use a Garmin Mobile 10 that works via Bluetooth and the software that
comes with it is called Garmin Mobile XT. That software is similar to the
software that runs on most every Garmin GPS device.

I have an 6900 or should I say "Touch" but it is not with a major carrier.
I like it but I don't use it for text messages or sending e-mail. FYI I
have it setup to receive e-mail then I reply to the e-mail with a destop
computer.

Once more, I hope the following site can help you out with the questions I
left out above:
