Has the krzr k1m been discontinued?

My daughter upgraded from the e815 to the K1M a month ago. Having decided
that she likes it, my wife was going to upgrade to it, as well. But, it no
longer shows up on Verizon's website.

Did they just exhaust their stocks on graduation presents, or has the phone
been discontinued for good?

I called Verizon to ask, but the idiot who took my call has the IQ of wet
sandpaper. He says he has no way to know, but he would guess that it's been
discontinued. But, he's only worked there for 2 weeks... so what does he
know?

If the K1M really has been discontinued, what's taking its place? I don't
see anything that I would call the "new K1M" on Verizon's website.

Have you looked at the new MOTO W755?

I am indeed looking at that one--it looks pretty good. It's $69 with the
discount ($40 more than the K1M cost), but I see that Costco has the W755
for $29. I'll have to check to see if that's only for new customers or if I
can get the discount.
