Really, it makes sense when you recall Alltel's beginnings as a rural landline
carrier. They used to service my parents' house in Middle-of-Nowhere, Ohio,
until they divested their landline operations (my parents are now Windstream
customers).

Not surprising, considering that Windstream was spun off from Alltel.

I'd rather keep the "My Circle" numbers. MTM was never a big selling
point for me, with Alltel or VZW. With MC, I can add landlines, other
carriers' wireless, etc.

Because A) it's irrelevant to the discussion, B) you don't hold up any

But what do they have to do with the sale of Alltel? I don't think
there has been a Goldman or a Sachs running that company for almost
