Plug the phone into the cable and the cable into the PC you run Palm
Desktop on.
Just boot Palm Desktop on the PC, Hotsync should show up in the tray.
RIGHTclick and pick the correct LOCAL cable selection, which disconnects
the wireless. Sync the phone over the cable with the sync button on the
cable, not the sync on the phone.....

Start at page 193. On 194, turn off Bluetooth and IR. On Palm Desktop on
your PC, set the communication to the CABLE. Sync over the cable and it'll
make sure the phone is setup for CABLE Hotsync.
Hope this helps out. It is kinda confusing. Save the manual before
closing the webpage...
