According to Motorola Support, there is an improvement in the speed
when syncing large amounts of music in MTP mode (Media Transfer
Protocol).

Is that all? I doubt it. I have the feeling it will cripple my ability
to browse the phone via bluetooth on my computer and add ringtones and
transfer photos for free.

I cannot imagine Verizon would put out an update that would be
beneficial to the user.
